Installation Services

Installation Services

In offshore and commercial maritime projects, installation often involves multiple disciplines simultaneously: access preparation, piping, mechanical work, coating, testing/inspection, material procurement, and operational constraints. Therefore, “workmanship” is not the sole factor determining installation quality. If the correct method is not selected based on the actual site conditions, the work sequence is not established, and mobilization is not carried out properly, even the best workmanship cannot eliminate the risk of delays and rework.

DEGEM’s installation approach is based on clarifying the scope before starting and making the implementation predictable, rather than “solving the problem on-site.” Through scope discovery, the as-built condition is understood; access, permits, and work sequencing are planned; material and equipment readiness is verified; and mobilization is carried out in compliance with site layout and OHS requirements. Control points are defined during execution, and project closure is completed not only with physical completion but also through documentation and reporting.

Onboard installation and upgrade projects
Installation work requiring hot work and fitting (in accordance with site regulations)
Installation coordinated with access solutions (scaffolding/rope access)
Work requiring installation within the scope of modifications and repairs
Progress integrated with scopes requiring testing/verification

Installation Services | Offshore and Marine Installation, Repair, and Upgrade

Planning, mobilization, controlled execution, and handover documentation for installation work in offshore and shipyard sites. Certified team, methods, and reporting discipline.

Installation should proceed not as the “fastest” but as the “most controlled” on-site.

In offshore and ship operations, installation is not merely an execution; it is a process managed through methods, access, permits, work sequencing, and handover records. DEGEM executes installation work using a planned handover approach.

Frequently Asked Questions
